We look forward to seeing all those going to the Christmas Party
on Wednesday 10th December 2003.
The start time is 20:00, sitting down for the meal at 20:30 with
the bar and disco finishing at midnight. The dress code for the
night is smart casual.
For those who can not remember what food they have ordered I will
try and remember to bring a list.
Without becoming a party pooper please remember that for the majority
of us, the next day Thursday 11th December will be a normal working
day where we have to drive - enough said;
As a bit of fun we would like you to nominate songs with the title
fitting someone in the team, let Syd know your choice ASAP.

Company
telephones are for business use ONLY we have to be very firm on
this matter! If the Inland Revenue do a check, they will look at
highest users and if it is found that the business’s phones
have been used for private use they will not check any further.
They will just assume that everyone is doing this and everyone will
have to pay Tax and NHI, possibly back dated 7 years!! The onus
is then on you to prove otherwise.
From 1st December 2003 ALL private calls will be charged in line
with the company telephone agreement. Directory Enquiries by mobile
phone costs £1 to £2.50 per call!! Please do not use
this facility, please phone control instead.
Please be aware it is an offence to use mobile phones in company
vehicles unless using the hands free holder.

Please ensure
that your drivers sheets are completed with all information that
you have, especially Reg number, job number, customer/garage signature,
and what you did or where you delivered the vehicle. Most important
is that you check the vehicle over for any damage BEFORE loading
the vehicle and get the customer to sign to agree the damage.
Give the customer the blue copy, when you arrive at your destination
put on the sheet no recovery damage, when you have unloaded get
the garage to sign agreeing to any damage that the customer has
signed for and that no further damage has occurred, give them the
yellow copy.
When you have completed a pay sheet please make sure it is handed
in so that it can be sent to Blandford.
