Ashley Wood Recovery is a family business formed in 1981 at the
current site near Blandford in Dorset. We also have bases in Dorchester,
Shaftesbury and Salisbury where we have vehicles to handle anything
from a motorcycle to a 44 tonne arctic. We work for all the major
motoring organisations and two police schemes and all our breakdown
and recovery facilities are backed up by our workshops. |

| We are members of both the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators and the Road Rescue Recovery Association. We have gained the coveted ISO9002 international certificate for standards and have twice won the AVRO trophy for "Best Turned Out Crew" as all of our team wear uniform including white shirt with a company logo and tie. One of our team, Steve Nixon, appeared on television last September on BBC1's "Toughest Job In Britain" with Jeremy Spakes. |
