Mervyn Johns, Region 12 chairman from MJ Auto and Commercial, Mark
Brooks, National Council Member from Brooks Auto Services, Jeff Bungey

Mondial Assistance have asked us to remind all of the team that they
must not make derogatory remarks about customers’ vehicles!
As you are aware customers hear what they want to hear and can then
make unnecessary demands on manufacturers and dealers. Mondial relationship
with manufacturers and dealers can be easily damaged by any careless
remarks dropped into the conversation with the customer.

WE
SAY FAREWELL TO SYD |
Syd joined us in August 2000 in the new position of Business Devetopment
Manager. He brought with him a wealth of experience in the industry,
largely from his twenty plus years within the RAC. Whilst both developing
his new role and accepting the growing mountain of responsibility
that I passed him, Syd still found time to carry out break downs and
recoveries, on those really busy days. Indeed he did his turn making
the tea & coffee! Eventually, however, he found that his job required
more and more office time, allowing less and less time visiting the
branches and “getting out and about” Syd has decided to
depart for pastures new. We wish him every success and thank him for
all his hard work. Recognising that Syd will be an impossible act
to follow we have re allocated all his responsibilities back onto
my desk and to help with this increased work load Nicki Wells has
joined the company in another new role, that of my Personal
Assistant, we wish her well in this new venture and I would assure
her that I don’t really bite, despite what Syd may have said!
