The Police Delta Rescue have secured the contract for the Royal
Mail, we will be attending breakdowns and recoveries for them.
We will be receivinfg Approved Agent cards which has to be in
every vehicle, if an employee of Royal Mail ask to see the card
they have to be shown.

When those responsible at each base order parts, please ensure that
you use the vehicle registration number as part of the order number.
If you are using job cards give this number as well along with the
initials of the person ordering the parts. When ordering parts to
go into stock just use your initials as the job number. |

Profile of the month is Bill Andrew., Bill is a recovery driver
at our Blandford Branch. Bill started with AWR in April 2003
Bill lives with his partner Julie and they live in Poole. His
hobbies are Motorbikes and Computers.Julie has entered all his
jobs onto the computer and on wednesday 30th June, Bill carried
out his 1000th job. In this time he has covered 84,817 miles.
The breakdown of teh jobs are as follows:- 910 cars/vans, 2
ambulances, 1 minibus, 1 formula one car, 82 motorbikes, 2 trikes
and 2 boat trailers.
One thing that Bill is proud of is that he has completed the
3 Peaks Challenge twice. This means going up 3 mountains within
24 hours which includes travelling time. |
The
3 mountains are :- Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scarfell Pike. The
record for this event is 21 hours, but not by Bill!
As a footnote, Gina says that he smells nice too, bet he didn't
after 3 Peaks Challenge. |
